Sports
Pupils in the Lower School are actively involved in the sporting life of the school and have the benefit of lessons taught by highly experienced sports and coaching staff.
Weekly PE lessons along with four Games lessons each week ensure that our pupils have ample opportunities for physical activity and to gain all the benefits of participating in working as a team. Our pupils in Year 3 and Year 4 form the Under 9 sports squads and take part in inter-school fixtures in all our major team sports – football, cricket, hockey, rugby (boys only) and netball (girls only). Swimming lessons take place as part of the PE curriculum, along with tennis, squash and athletics.
An extensive Extra-curricular programme is available before and after school which supplements our sports programme in the Lower School and parents sign up to the Extras at the start of each term. These include Running Club, daily swimming training and tennis lessons.
The Banda provides a variety of activities throughout each day which stimulate children academically, physically and socially.
